Holding several business and HR qualifications (MSc Human Resource Management, CIPD Level 7, HNC Business Management to name a few…) plus over 20 years of experience in business and HR, Jo operates at strategic and operational levels. She collaborates with senior leaders and maintains positive partnerships with management and teams across an organisation, to align its people development and business goals. Most recently Jo headed up the HR function at the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) where she shaped and implemented the people strategy and led key HR transformation projects, whilst enhancing the organisation’s workplace culture.
Jo delivers vital HR initiatives and provides guidance through the employee lifecycle, helping organisations achieve strategic objectives. Known for her strong work ethic and energy, she drives organisational effective and staff engagement. Her team was a finalist in the Welsh HR Team of the Year award.
Outside of work, Jo is passionate about fitness, sports, health, networking, and the simplicity of the natural world. She volunteers as a Trustee for a local Nature Reserve.
