Amy joined the EffectiveHRM team in June 2024 after previously working in a HR department in the manufacturing industry for a global aerospace organisation in Leicester prior to moving to Cardiff.
Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Psychological Well-being (taking a particular interest in occupational psychology), and CIPD level 5. She has extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, engagement and internal training.
Amy is passionate about supporting and coaching line managers and implementing engagement initiatives to improve employee engagement. She also enjoys further developing her own skills, holding a Level 2 ILM qualification and recently completing a ‘Train the Trainer’ session and CPD Level 2 certificate in Counselling Skills.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys travelling, binge-watching lengthy TV series with her beloved black cat, Lucifer, and socialising with friends and family.
